MIT (CEO Min Byeong-soo), a company specializing in IoT (Internet of Things) convergence development and smart factory construction in Ulsan, and Sensi (CEO Sang-bok Choi), a company specializing in sensor system development And we decided to join forces to make smart factories in the petrochemical industry.

MIT and Sensi held a 'Smart Factory Establishment Agreement Ceremony' in Room 114 of Ulsan University's Industry-University Cooperation Building (Building 35) on the 14th.

MIT CEO Min Byung-soo, 30 at Hyundai Heavy Industries For smart factories in the heavy industry and petrochemical industries based on more than years of work experience, Sensi CEO Choi Sang-bok is a sensor expert with a doctorate in sensor engineering, and was founded to apply and commercialize various sensor systems in various industries.

This agreement is to contribute to making a smart factory by jointly developing a facility predictive maintenance system that controls various facilities in the factory in the era of the 4th industrial revolution.

We plan to develop a sensor system that can measure and control various facilities in the factory in real time. Sensi develops system interface (SI) equipment to transmit sensor information to the center, while MIT collects and analyzes the data transmitted from SI, and develops a big data-based IoT platform and monitoring system and converges them. We plan to take a leading role in responding to the era of the second industrial revolution.

If such a convergence system is developed, the existing old factory production facilities can be monitored in real time, which will greatly contribute to tracking defects in the pre-failure stages of the factory's production process, both companies explain. In particular, he informed that it would be possible to prevent disasters caused by sudden breakdowns in advance and reduce economic losses.
